Around 1900, Link River,

occasionally went dry before
the Klamath Project was built. There
was no hydropower, no hatcheries,
occasionally no fish (fish need
water), no artificially-raised river
flows or lake levels.

January 29, 2009, the Supreme Court of Oregon agreed to
decide three issues of State law which will likely
determine whether Klamath farmers can recover compensation
from the United States for refusing to release water to
them in 2001."
