Wolf-livestock update set for Wednesday

A free wolf and livestock seminar is planned at the Klamath County Fairgrounds, Room B in the Main Exhibit Hall for Wednesday, May 2 from 3 to 6 p.m.

Speakers will be John Williams of Oregon State University Extension office, Wallowa County; Tom Collom, Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife; and Elizabeth Willy, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

The seminar will address the current status of wolves in Klamath County; what affect they are having on livestock; and solutions to minimizing wolves present with livestock.
