Our Klamath Basin
Water Crisis
Upholding rural Americans' rights to grow food,
own property, and caretake our wildlife and natural resources.
Memorial Day, from Mark Baird, KSYC Buffalo
Broadcasting.
Listen live today, May 27 and 28th, 2012 This Memorial Day is very special as we are in the 150
anniversary of the American Civil War. The battle named for the
little log church called Shiloh was last month. It was the
bloodiest battle in American history up to that time. In that
one battle more Americans on both sides gave their lives than in
all of the battles combined in our history. We as Americans,
need to remember that freedom is not free. It was paid for in
blood, the blood of the finest men and women that The United
States of America has ever produced. Americans who paid with
their lives for generations they will never know in places they
will never visit and may have never heard of. They died in
places most Americans cannot spell and in some cases could not
locate on a map. Places like Chu-Lai and Hill 881. Chosin,
Pusan, Iwo Jima and Kabul. Places in Europe where they now
consider all Americans to be stupid and boorish. Places in
China, where the government in power is quite willing to murder
its own people. Places in Cuba where the current government
thinks it acceptable to starve and imprison its own people for
ideas that we take for granted. We face a time in this country
in which we face tremendous challenges. We are the people and we
continue to pay in blood for the freedoms guaranteed by our
founding fathers, Life, Liberty and Property. Inalienable rights
given us by our creator and guaranteed forever by the greatest
document ever drawn by the hand of man. The Constitution of the
United States of America. Defend it! Preserve it! Join us at
KSYC Buffalo Broadcasting in remembering those of our brothers
and sisters who paid for your right to enjoy it, with their
lives and the lives of their families! Tune in to KSYC 103.9 FM
or on the Internet at www.ksyc1039.com and click on listen live.
The show will be broadcast at 2pm on Sunday and at 10am and 5pm
on Monday, Memorial Day, 2012. ==================================================== In accordance with Title 17 U.S.C. section 107, any copyrighted material herein is distributed without profit or payment to those who have expressed a prior interest in receiving this information for non-profit research and educational purposes only.
