Survivors of the December 7, 1941 Japanese
attack on the Pearl Harbor military base in
Hawaii and their families gathered for
ceremonies all over the United States to mark
the 71st anniversary of the event that launched
the United States into the Pacific theater of
World War II.

interspersed with photos of some of the Pearl
Harbor Day commemorative ceremonies.
