The Klamath County Natural Resource Advisory Council had a special meeting on May 28, 2008 to discuss the Klamath Basin Water Settlement Agreement.  The following motion was unanimously passed.

While the Klamath County Natural Resource Advisory Council supports the concept of a basin wide settlement, the Klamath County Natural Resource council cannot support Draft 11 as written and we are postponing the vote on this until the next regularly scheduled KCNRAC  meeting, but given that, the Natural Resource Advisory Council has some concerns regarding the assurances of water delivery in the Upper Basin, the management of the Mazama Tree Farm and impacts of dam removal.  

Acceptance of this motion was acknowledged and approved by Commissioner’s Al Switzer, William Brown and John Elliott on June 10th, 2008.
