Our Klamath Basin
Water Crisis
Upholding rural Americans' rights to grow food,
own property, and caretake our wildlife and natural resources.
Don’t hold breath
Greenview, Calif. — We the people of this area
understand why the economy is so bad. The reason is so
simple. We don’t make use of our natural resources.
If only the stimulus money was used to rebuild the mills that were closed down because of the ignorant eco-freaks. Forest Service: put up big timber sales and ship the eco-freight to some South Sea island. Give them some carrot seeds and a fishing pole and tell them to stay there. Start making lumber again. Plus, our counties and schools would have plenty of money again. Sell mountain lion tags for $500 each until the mountain lion problem is put under control.
Thin out the sea lions, seals and river otters until the
fishing industry rebounded. Let the commercial fishermen
fish.
Let the farmer have unrestricted water. Use the sucker fish for fertilizer. Let the miners mine unrestricted if the top soil is put back where it came from. Use this country’s natural resources. Don’t leave our old-growth timber to rot and burn. This one thing in just this local area would create thousands of jobs and put this area back on its feet. But don’t hold your breath until it happens. |
