Why tear down power dam that has a fish ladder?

     I was just curious about the article on the Keno dam and why that dam could remain because it has a working fish ladder. If I’m not mistaken, John Boyle dam has a working fish ladder, too.

    What a waste of money to tear a dam down that generates power and is not impeding the fish from getting upstream.

    Someone needs to get their head examined on the proposed dam-removal process. Hasn’t anyone thought about installing or building a fish hatchery to implement the salmon run?

    During drought years, do these people really think there will be enough water flowing down the Klamath River to sustain salmon migration upstream when there is no “reserve” of water behind the dams?
