For those of you who missed the county supervisor's meeting at the Miners Inn for the sake of dam removal on the Klamath River, I want you to know that your county representatives did their jobs and they did it well.

Yes, our county council didn't just state what was on the agenda to the state and federal representatives. He pushed facts and questions to the point that those representatives were very uncomfortable.

Then came your county supervisors, who sometimes have a poor reputation. Well, I just want you to know that I was personally very satisfied with them.

At the November 12th 1 p.m. meeting, your supervisors stood up against the state and federal governments. Especially Marcia Armstrong. Yes, Supervisor Armstrong rendered the representatives from the Department of Interior and Pacific Power and Light totally speechless.

Then came we the public. There were many very good speeches with a lot of undebatable facts. There were several very educated speakers to support those facts. Then the general public, like myself, gave our opinions and support of our supervisors to not sign the Klamath Basin Restoration Act. There were also two great speakers from the Shasta Indian Tribe that made statements about their history and their native grounds. But they concluded that they are Americans and support We the People, so they are strongly against dam removal.

Another gentlemen from Klamath Falls, Ore. presented a very good speech, but also stated they had a meeting in Klamath Falls where 350 people showed up who all voted no on the dam removal. He said there is only a special interest group up there supporting the removal of our dams.

Yes, things are looking better; tea parties, town hall meetings and our supervisors representing us, We the People. We are again starting to look like the Republic of the United States of America.

Yes, supervisors, keep up the voice of the people, your forefathers will be proud of you.
