Little consideration is given to all the beneficial uses of the water as it works its way through the Basin to return to the river.
The "Executive Summary" printed recently as "Draft EIS/EIR" pertaining to dam removal gives seven examples of the many unresolved issues on the Klamath River.
It is notable that these examples arose during the last decade when the Upper Basin experienced drought conditions. There are pictures on file showing past years of drought when Link River was completely dry. Maybe construction of the Link River Dam has prevented this condition from happening again.
More alternatives should be considered before making the final decision of removing all dams.
