Birds: This revolves around a few fish that have been listed by the EPA, to the exception of all other creatures. The eliminated reservoirs provide for fish, deer, elk, raccoons, beavers, otters, etc… not to mention, birds. This is the Pacific Flyway. Literally millions of birds of hundreds of species stop to rest and eat the algae, bugs and minnows on their twice yearly migrations.

   Energy: No cheap electricity generated by the dams. Energy costs will go sky high. Yes, it will cost billions to relicense or remove the dams, but Pacific Power has been charging its customers for several years to pay for it.

   Other costs to humans: Homes, farms, recreation, wells, irrigation, flood control (I know, climate change dictates we’ll never flood again —ha-ha), and way of life.
