Controversy means new water pact is necessary

Let the Klamath Basin Restoration Agreement/Klamath Hydroelectric Settlement Agreement expire. It does not have the required consensus to be implemented.

Let the upper Basin irrigators write a new agreement, one that is not tied to KBRA/KHSA. The Klamath Water Recovery and Economic Restoration Act SB 2379 is all inclusive with KBRA/KHSA; therefore it should not pass the full Senate or the full House.

It’s not progress that’s being held up; it’s we who are at the mercy of the extortion. KBRA/KHSA will never work for the City of Klamath Falls or Klamath County.

How could sending water in the fall to needy salmon at the mouth of the Klamath River be possible without the dams to hold back the water for that purpose?
