PRAYER REQUEST

This message is coming to all of you who were in my support group but it's not about me this time. Barb, my wife, has not been well for the last several months and two nights ago became disoriented so we took her to the hospital. It was discovered that her sodium was very low and several other things were out of balance. A CAT scan also revealed a 4 cm tumor in her lung. A biopsy has been scheduled but the medical professionals are nearly sure it is not benign because of all the effects that are manifesting themselves. We are in the process of arranging for her to be transported to Portland where there are specialists in pulmonary cancer treatment.

Please pray that it will be found to be operable and that it can be removed. Pray also that I will be able to make this journey again, this time as the caregiver instead of the care receiver.

2 Tim 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fearfulness, but one of power, love, and sound judgment.

I heard this verse on the way home from the hospital tonight. I know that fearfulness is not from God, but sound judgment is!
