Prayer Chain Request Update
January 28, 2005
Prayer Warriors, great things are happening as a result of God working through your prayers!
However, there is much yet to be done, so please, keep those prayer lasers focused!
Please swell the ranks of those praying for others by adding/keeping these wonderful Children of God to your prayer lists and sharing this list with many others. Prayer is a mighty healer, for the power of prayer comes directly from God through our faith!
Bill McClanahan in South Carolina had a cardiac arrest on April 27, 2004. His dear, devoted wife, Kay, has never left his side (she lives with him in the TCU – transitional care unit) except for one day – her father’s funeral. They are fighting the euthanasia proponents who do not intend to let him improve – and desperately need a brave, pro-life doctor in South Carolina (in or near Charleston) who will take over Bill’s care, give him a physical examination and help wean him off the respirator and drugs that are robbing him of his life. Bill has an iron constitution and both he and Kay are FIGHTERS FOR LIFE, but those dispensing the drugs have another agenda. The only form of communication that Bill cannot use is speech. Like Terri Schiavo, Bill ‘talks’ with his eyes, and he and Kay are pleading for help. It has now been 276 days. Please, if you know a gutsy, not-to-be-dissuaded doctor who will step up to the plate and help, contact Kay at 843-876-8484 (Bill’s room) and let her know. Bill can get better, but he’s been in the hands of some death-dealing medical ‘caregivers’ and will die without two things: Your Prayers and the help of one great doctor. Thank you in advance for your help!
for Theresa Marie (Terri) Schindler Schiavo, in Florida, who has been lit from within by God and has been kept strong and alive throughout many Direct Miracles during the almost fifteen years since; as many of you know, although the U.S. Supreme Court on Monday, January 24, 2005, declined to hear Terri’s case, there are still options available to save her life and free her -- from the euthanasia clutches of a husband-in-name-only who has lived with another woman for more than a decade, owns a home with Jodi Centonze and has sired two children with Jodi -- and we must keep praying that those options will work. Terri has been held hostage since February 25, 1990 -- let’s see that our prayers and God’s will free her soon! Terri swallows, does not drool and maintains her own blood pressure. She very likely could be fed from a spoon -- if the husband would allow it, but he has other plans for Terri, plans that have never included her rehabilitation. Terri cannot talk, but she can and DOES communicate and is very much Awake, Alert and Aware! Please visit www.TerrisFight.org and www.propertyrightsresearch.org/articles4/terrifrms.htm for much more information and ways you can help this innocent woman regain her family and life!
Wiggles, my dear Australian Blue Heeler dog, who has progressive retinal atrophy, a hereditary condition that is taking his eyesight at only six and a half years. Wiggles is handling it very well and adjusting, but his loss of sight is something I'm struggling with (such beautiful brown eyes, now turquoise), though he remains full of spunk and vigor! Here in west-central Ohio, we are handling winter pretty well, because the white ground contrasts with the brown bushes and branches! As of today, we are experiencing a miracle in the form of a new contact who has offered to let Wiggles help test something amazing ("echo-location") in the near future! We are VERY HAPPY and filled with Praise!
Shawn Watson is reaping the benefits of these worldwide Prayer Chains. Shawn is the nephew of Tim, a dear friend of mine. Tim tells me that your prayers for Shawn are working miracles! Shawn is 28 years old is steadily recovering from a recent life-threatening incident. He and his family need to be wrapped lovingly and safely in your prayers uplifted to God -- we know how STRONG prayer is!
I also ask that you continue to keep Laura Schneberger and her family in New Mexico, and Kit and Sherry Laney, also in New Mexico, in your prayers as they weather a storm of issues related to ranching and wolf 're'introduction. These are serious issues and need your prayers of intercession, please!
Please pray fervently for the Washington State Governor's election to be revoted and for the real winner to be sworn in as Washington's new governor. Dino Rossi won the election and the first two recounts. Let's do our best to uplift him in prayer!
Please hold Jesse Hardy and his adopted son, Tommy Hilton, close in your prayers and hold shields 'round their efforts to keep their Florida home and land from becoming part of The Wildlands Project. Please pray that their attorneys are inspired and made stronger even than their considerable knowledge up to now, and that they will set a precedent in this homesteaded property rights case.
For the great blessing of giving Tai Aguirre of Kent Lakes, New York, his voice back and a calling that blesses so many others.
Another request is for Gary's wife, Linda (in Ohio) to be helped/healed from her serious heart problems, and for their friend, Weston, to be healed from his own array of personal issues. Weston is nineteen years old and needs God so much, but Satan is doing a tug-o-war for him. Please pray that Weston is yanked from Satan's clutches -- there's so much good in this young man, as there is in Shawn Watson. Both young men need your prayers unceasing to help bolster them and light their way to God and His Guidance. It is sometimes very difficult for 'feet of clay' to trust our Heavenly Father.
For Jane Taylor in New Jersey, who is undergoing continuing treatment for cancer (please hold Jane up in your prayers -- she is such a strong activist and property rights fighter and needs strength and healing).
I have not contacted all of you before on each prayer request, but some of you are aware of some of my requests for prayers:
Bruce Burton in Minnesota, who knows that prayers were answered during/after his heart surgery, thanks everyone who prayed for him – he has fully recovered now!
for Harriet Cady’s nephew Jared, in New Hampshire, who has regained consciousness from a three-week coma after a terrible auto accident (caused by his diabetes), praise God!
for Nancy Gregg's husband Gregg (who was at Death's door a year ago and has made a miraculous recovery -- totally God-guided), in California;
for Marcia Stirman's friends in Texas, who are doing well and recovered;
for Barb Hall's husband, Red (Clarence) in Oregon, and all the Klamath Basin farmers/irrigators and their families;
for Peggy Speiger's husband, John Speiger, in Oregon (recovering at home from serious illness and in therapy, praise God!);
for Kathy Gibson-Boatman's son, Dirk Boatman, in Arizona (who is recovering miraculously from life-threatening injuries);
For Bonnie and Bob Eggle and the entire family of Kris Eggle, who was slain-by-an-illegal invader on the U.S. side of the U.S. - Mexican border in Organ Pipe National Park, where Kris worked as a NPS Ranger. Please see http://www.KrisEggle.org for much more.
for Howard and Marcia Gieger, in Oregon (both of whom are recovering from injuries/illness);
for my webmaster, Gerry Ullery, who continues to have sporadic health issues related to diabetes and lingering ill effects from his service to America;
for Gerry's grandmother, Esther, in Ohio, who is miraculously recovering from surgery (Esther will be ninety-nine this August!);
for biker dude, radio talk show host, entrepreneur, and all-around great guy Clay Douglas in New Mexico to recover fully from his terrible accident last year (he was on a motorcycle and the victim). God is working in Clay to a degree that is incredible!
for dear friends Ray and Joyce Black, who are doing better, thanks to your prayers!
for Tom Strider and Dave Russell's wives (both in Florida); for Jay Walley (New Mexico); and for all the other Children of God whose names escape me at the moment, but who are in need of prayer.
for Sheila Powers in Albany County, New York, her county Farm Bureau's guardian angel, who continues to recover from long-term injuries suffered in a car accident.
Thank you for your prayers and for the prayers of those on your prayer chains and those of others.
God is blessing us all mightily for our faith in Him through Prayer!
