Our Klamath Basin
Water Crisis
Upholding rural Americans' rights to grow food,
own property, and caretake our wildlife and natural resources.
Please, Prayer Warriors!
1/14/05
Please swell the ranks of those praying for others
by adding/keeping these wonderful Children of God
to your prayer lists and sharing this list with
many others. Prayer is a mighty healer, for the
power of prayer comes directly from God through
our faith!
Add Shawn Watson
to your worldwide Prayer Chains. Shawn is the
nephew of Tim, a dear friend of mine. Tim just
phoned and asked me to have Shawn added to prayer
chains. Tim is 28 years old and has had a
life-threatening thing happen (probably brought on
by several injuries and the prescribed medicines
and their side-effects) recently. He and his
family need to be wrapped lovingly and safely in
your prayers uplifted to God -- and we all know
that prayer is STRONG!
I also ask that you continue to keep
Laura Schneberger and her
family in New Mexico, and
Kit and Sherry Laney,
also in New Mexico, in your prayers as they
weather a storm of issues related to ranching and
wolf 're'introduction. These are serious issues
and need your prayers of intercession, please!
Please hold Jesse
Hardy and his adopted son,
Tommy Hilton,
close in your prayers and hold shields 'round
their efforts to keep their Florida home and land
from becoming part of The Wildlands Project.
Another request is for
Gary's wife, Linda (in
Ohio) to be helped/healed from her serious heart
problems, and for
their friend, Weston, to be healed
from his own array of personal issues. Weston is
nineteen years old and needs God so much, but
Satan is doing a tug-o-war for him. Please pray
that Weston is yanked from Satan's clutches --
there's so much good in this young man, as there
is in Shawn Watson. Both young men need your
prayers unceasing to help bolster them and light
their way to God and His Guidance. It is sometimes
very difficult for 'feet of clay' to trust our
Heavenly Father.
I ask, too, that you keep in your prayers the
countless folks harmed by the tsunami, the Florida
hurricanes and the California mudslides. A tsunami
of prayer can and will help those afflicted to
heal!
I have not contacted all of you before on every
prayer request, but some of you are aware of some
of my requests for prayers:
for Theresa Marie
(Terri) Schindler Schiavo, in
Florida, who has been lit from within by God and
has been kept strong and alive throughout many
Direct Miracles during the almost fifteen years
for Nancy Gregg's
husband Gregg (who was at Death's
door a year ago and has made a miraculous recovery
-- totally God-guided), in California;
for Marcia Stirman's
friends in Texas;
for Barb Hall's
husband, Red (Clarence) in Oregon,
and all the Klamath
Basin farmers/irrigators and their families;
for Peggy Speiger's husband,
John Speiger,
in Oregon (recovering from serious illness and
back home as of last night, January 13th, praise
God!);
for Kathy Gibson-Boatman's son,
Dirk Boatman,
in Arizona (who is recovering miraculously from
life-threatening injuries);
for Howard and
Marcia Gieger, in Oregon (both of
whom are recovering from injuries/illness);
for my webmaster,
Gerry Ullery, and his wife, Rachell,
in New Mexico, after their terrible auto accident
of April 2003, and a close call on a snow-slick
road near home last year;
for Gerry's grandmother,
Esther, in
Ohio, who is recovering from surgery and needs
more prayers as she recovers slowly (Esther is in
her late nineties);
for dear friends Ray
and Joyce Black, in Ohio, as
they've had several health issues that were
life-threatening (and have come through all of
them all right, praise God!);
for my own father,
Richard Smithson, who had a close
call last month and was rescued from serious
injury by my quick-acting mom, Kay, and four
neighbors who look a lot like angels to me! Dad
was doing what many dads do, trying to be
self-sufficient and not ask for help, and a little
chore quickly became something that only God's
Mighty Hand prevented from being something so much
worse.
for Tom Strider and
Dave Russell's wives (both in
Florida); for Jay
Walley (New Mexico); and for all
the other Children of God whose names escape me at
the moment, but who are in need of prayer.
Thank you for your prayers and for the prayers of
those on your prayer chains and those of others.
God is blessing us all mightily for our faith in
Him through Prayer!
Julie Kay Smithson
