Not so very long ago we were watching a television show which focused on some of the cutting edge airline security measures which were being considered in the attempt to keep our airlines as safe as possible from terrorist threats. Retinal and fingerprint scans were touted as being a possible means of positive, if not fool proof personal identification verification. It was supposed however, that though such a system would be beneficial, many people would have a problem with being data based and cataloged in such a big brotherish way. Yet one can also speculate that at some time in the future it may become adopted simply as our society becomes more technologically friendly or through mandate in response to a dire security menace of some sort. Either way, it could be perceived as a logical means to consolidate and simplify identification and financial transactions; we already marked with an extremely personal and individual set of identification in our eyes and finger tips.

As they demonstrated how the scans are preformed, it showed a person leaning the area of their eye onto a rest near the scanner. What you actually saw was the person’s forehead looming towards the camera. As they showed a fingerprint scan in progress, you simply saw the back of the subject’s hand as they passed their fingers over the reader. One could not help but consider how a person from thousands of years in the past would explain an identification process as such. Your attention was naturally drawn to the forehead and back of the registered subject’s right hand.

Truly, a means to register the "Mark" does exist in our life time, and that doesn’t even include discussion of the powerful technology currently available wherein you can have an identification and tracking chip injected into your pet or your livestock… It is probably more important at this point in time to pay more attention to the means available and the potential existence of a supporting satanic global system than the actual form and meaning of the numbers 666. You don’t want to spend so much time laboring over codes and names and dates that you wake up and find yourself IN that system

There has long been a struggle between good and evil. God is so serious about it that He flooded the earth once and in the end will destroy it utterly and completely. He even sent His Son in order to gather us back away from evil and damnation. This temporal place and even the heavens where Satan also made his stand will become obliterated. Holding onto and keeping the world as it is, is thus very important to Satan. Ironically, those who battle too fanatically to save the earth from human kind run the risk of becoming very important to Satan and critical toward his evil ends. There is after all a defining line between stewardship and radical environmentalism; that line is only as broad as the difference between good and evil, God and Satan, Christ and the Antichrist, humble subjection to The Ultimate Authority or spiritual anarchism. As the struggle takes place around you, it could be more important to realize that the source of the conflict is simply God vs. Satan/Good vs. Evil, rather than suspiciously mining for the existence of influential secret societies etc. You don’t want to get so distracted that you wake up and discover that you have missed the obvious and find yourself to some degree on the wrong side of God. One can not afford to run the risk of being deceived into pursuing a false foe while Satan and his forces move unhampered towards their goal.

Most believers know that Christless lawlessness and its discord will eventually (one way or another or in one order or another) lead to the adoption of a new, doomed and fragile world order, which will bring about the sort of chaos required to set the stage for the massive acceptance and consequent rise of the Antichrist to the position of overwhelming power. A system, an order, wherein he causes all…to be given a mark… A mark which represents and keys you into a system which you must be a part of if you want to buy or sell. In this current age we have already seen a reminiscent tested and failed Soviet system: in that system if you were not listed (in the Party) you received no income, no housing, no food, no medical attention etc. You could not legally buy, sell, trade or live on your own – it was the death of individualism as well as the individual. It is helpful therefore to remember the atrocities which took place last century and realize that there is the still more than ample Satan influenced human capacity for those things to take place again. Human nature is by no means better tempered or more balanced now than in the past.

Some say that there is already a system in place and operating in nearly every nation and even in every community in the United States which is intended to tear down the cornerstones of faith, ideology, morality, family, economics and community and replace it slowly, subtly with the mandates and control of a Just Third Way, a One World Government. You may be better informed if you internet search: "Local Agenda 21, the U.N. Plan for your Community" by Berit Kjos. "Developing Sustainable Communities", "The Rise of Global Governance" by Henry Lamb, and check out the web sites of Sovereignty International, Freedom 21 and the American Policy Center. You may see nothing of clarity or substance there or who knows, you may see a predicted and evil future at your door. In any event, you may want to take a close look as it is poignantly true that, "we perish for lack of knowledge".

Upon looking into the essence of the Sustainable Development, The Sustainable Community process, Smart Growth etc. it is likely that some will even consider it to be good, just and right (as the majority of the world will), while others will see it as horrifying, dark and menacing. It is after all, driven by what it self defines as the Just Third Way (search that out as well) which is simply the newest of the competing socialisms. It boldly states why current systems and the systems of the past were not SUSTAINABLE and why THEIR new way (where everyone owns everything equally under a global government) is sustainable. Some it seems, have decided that they do not feel that the world is on a sustainable course and they wish to save it from what they see is eminent environmental and economic and global doom. The irony is that it could simply be those false fears and their artificially induced urgency, which congers the necessary popular support needed to adopt the NOW exiting One World Government global plan, which will by its own evil nature, bring the world into apocalyptic ending times chaos.

Listen then and you will hear what could be the buzz words of the new order which have been stolen and implanted into our everyday life; Partnerships, Visioning, Sense of Place, Sense of Community, Community Development, Connectedness to the Land, Earth Justice, Social Justice, Justice (in general), Human Rights, Healthy, Smart Growth, Consensus Building, Human Caused Global Warming, Atmospheric Heating, Food Security, Land Tenure, Elitism, Equitable Access, Social Inequity, Social Equity, Irresponsible Consumption, Corporate Greed, Corporate Responsibility, Sustainable Agriculture, Organic everything, Sustainable Economies, Sustainable Communities, Communalism etc. These concept words and phrases may be the building blocks of a better, more fair and peaceful brave new world or they may hold the seeds of deception, grievous control and global disaster. Regardless of what they are leading to, it would be good to remain mindful that the people of His Kingdom, his faithful followers are still more important to God than the creation itself. As such and whether or not we are nearing the end, it would be excellent for us to purpose in our lives to always and in all things "seek first the Kingdom...". That is all that can truly and peacefully sustain and endure: God, His Kingdom and our eternal saved soul. Those venues are the essence of all that is truly, eternally sustainable. As a contrasting reference point, this past century should have at least shown us which social and political methodologies (with their integrated perception of who and what the enemies of civilization, peace and freedom are) fell short of sustainability and flowed into swiftly away from God and into abomination! Choose wisely.

So where does this leave us? Test everything, as it says, "Even the elect will be deceived, if that can be". When we think about it, there could be a certain flavor of Esaw soup out there so alluring that we could trade our inheritance for it without out ever realizing. We do not want to naively follow the ear itching calls of vengeance, the drive of purpose over being driven by the spirit, corpo-phobia, envy, spite, the need for position and acceptance, extreme fears, mania etc. and then become so deceived that upon the end of our lives we hear the words, "…depart from me I know you not". Too many will follow the Anti-Christ. Test everything.

Day by day we are edging closer to the end of these times. The final end may or may not come during our stay on earth. Our challenge though, is to live as if the end will be upon us tomorrow, and at the same time live as if it will not arrive for another seventeen thousand years. We simply need to be AWAKE and waiting with our lamps trimmed and ready, and prepared to pray when we see the evil one’s plans in action. God tells us that we war not against flesh and blood, so when we pray remember who the enemy is. Pray then with the full assurance of POWER from on high; we can bring down strongholds you know! We fully know that he who is in us is greater that he who is in the world, so let’s get the full measure of Him! When we do, evil will flee from us!

I estimate that if we pray enough and together we will begin to see the true hearts of the false peace, unity, equity, prosperity and the "we just need to share" speakers exposed. When the chips are down and the veils are prayed away it will become quickly evident that what they are about is simply themselves and thus the Anti. Above all of the promises and rhetoric, in the end Christless or altered Christ utopian promises have no room for the New Covenant, they squeeze out the true Christ, others, community, faith, compassion, equality and justice because self is so huge that there is no room left over. This is the essence of the Manured Covenant and nothing shines light into darkness as such quite like the simple besieging prayer that His Kingdom come and His Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven! Give over to Him our problems and our concerns towards this current age, and seek His answers and not out own and powerful things WILL happen. Or act on our own perceived concerns with our own plans and all Hell will surely break loose.

Come Lord Jesus, give us the eyes to see and the ears to hear above the clatter of the world around us so that upon your arrival on earth or our arrival at the Gates of Heaven that we will be able to recognize each other – eternally. Let the mark which we seek be the cross.
