12/22/05 Prayer Requests sent to KBC by Julie Smithson
Thank you for your abiding faith in our Father and
for your prayers to Him for our fellow brothers
and sisters in need.
Thanks to Him for keeping each of us sheltered 'neath
His Mighty Wing as we travel to and from our homes
this Christmastime.
Mary and husband Wilbur in Florida ask for your
prayers 'round Mary's stepdaughter (Wilbur's
daughter) Marla in Oregon. Marla is 56, a breast
cancer survivor for four years, and has just been
biopsied for what a doctor believes is a very
aggressive abdominal cancer. Please pray for the
miracles that Only He can do. Marla is a good
woman of strong faith and leads a very healthy
life. She is in strong need of your prayers during
this time. She has a supportive Christian husband
and he, too, asks for your prayers.
Deborah in California asks that prayer warriors
know about her gentle brother, Richard, in
Seattle, Washington, and that, in just eight days
of your prayers, his fourth stage thyroid cancer,
having spread to his lungs when she asked for your
prayers on his behalf, has been miraculously
shrinking! Other family members are even coming to
attribute this to prayer, and that realization is
a miracle in and of itself. Thank you! Please keep
up that barrage of prayers for Richard as this
45-year-old faithful son trusts in Our Father for
healing.
Continued prayers are requested and accepted by
the following children of God:
Bob in Montana continues to feel a need for your
prayers; this is a difficult time in his life and
he's trusting God's guidance to help him through.
Bob's prayer this evening is, "In Jesus Holy Name
and Sacred Heart I pray for His peace and mercy,
and thank Him for His sacrifice that gave me my
salvation, Amen." Thank you in advance, dear
Lord; Bob prays for others regularly and does not
often ask for anything for himself.
Prayers are needed for Nancy and Gregg in
California, who are both being healed by God's
Will!
JFL in coastal Virginia is buoyed by our prayers
as his aging earthly body tries to stave off an
affliction.
Kay in South Carolina is hungry for the help
that prayer delivers; this is her first
Christmas without her beloved Bill.
Marcia and her Jim have moved from Oregon to
California; Jim continues to move during these
winter weather times so prayer is needed for his
safe travels and for Marcia's health to improve
while protecting his own health.
The young man in California with melanoma is
doing better! Thanks to God and to each of you
for holding him gently and protectively in your
prayers!
Thank you, God, for hearing our prayers as
they lift in faith to You for Your kind
acknowledgement and attention. We trust you
implicitly!
God, you know our hearts better than we ever
will; You knew us before our mothers did.
Thank you for the gift You gave us of Your Son's
Life that we recognize as a Promise Fulfilled
and a Miracle delivered in a humble manger,
midst shepherds and beneath a Great Light in the
heavens -- and then His Resurrection -- to give
us eternal life everlasting.
