http://www.heraldandnews.com/articles/2004/01/28/news/agriculture/ag3.txt Public comment sought on Lost River Sub-Basin Published Jan. 28, 2004 The Oregon Department of Agriculture will hold a public comment period through March 15 on the Lost River Sub-Basin Agricultural Water Quality Management Area Rules. The department will also hold a public hearing at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 9, at the Oregon State University extension office, 3328 Vandenberg Road. Interested persons may present oral and written comments at the hearing or in writing. Written comments must be received by 5 p.m. March 15. Comments should be sent to the Oregon Department of Agriculture, Lost River Sub-Basin Public Comment, Natural Resources Division, 35 Capitol Street N.E., Salem, OR 97301-2532. Department staff, in consultation with the local advisory committee, will review and consider oral and written comments before presenting final recommendations on rules adoption to the State Board of Agriculture and the director of the Oregon Department of Agriculture.
