EPA Seeks Comment on Draft
National Program Guidance For FY 2005 Congressman Doolittle's office Tue, March 16, 2004 2:43 pm EPA is seeking public review and comment on draft guidance designed to implement the water elements of the new EPA Strategic Plan. The new draft National Water Program Guidance for FY 2005 is now available on the internet at http://www.epa.gov/ocfo/npmguidance/index.htm In October of 2003, EPA published a new Strategic Plan describing specific environmental and public health improvements we hope to accomplish by 2008. The draft National Water Program Guidance for FY 2005 builds on the new EPA Strategic Plan by defining the process for creating an operational plan for water programs for fiscal year 2005. Over the next month, EPA will work with State and Tribal partners and the public to improve this draft Guidance. A final Guidance document will be published by mid-April. This final Guidance will provide the foundation for work by EPA Regions, States and Tribes to develop FY 2005 annual work plans or Performance Partnership Agreements. Comments should be provided to Marjorie Jones at the Office of Water (jones.marjorie@epa.gov) by March 30th. Jason Larrabee Senior Legislative Assistant Congressman John T. Doolittle |
