Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011Klamath Bull and Horse Sale Feb. 2-6 Herald and News 1/27/11 Schedule of Events 8 a.m. — Western Trade Show check-in and set-up. 5 p.m. — All bulls checked in to bull sale office Thursday, Feb. 38 a.m. — Handlers meeting for Cow Dog Competition. 9 a.m. — Western Trade Show check in and set-up; qualifying competition for cow dogs; weigh bulls in Bull Barn. 3 p.m. — Sale horses checked in to office, veterinarian and conformation checked and paint branded. 5 p.m. — Cow Dog Calcutta. 5:30 p.m. — Klamath Cattlewomen’s Barbecue. 6 p.m. — Finals competition for Dog Trials. Friday, Feb. 49 a.m. — Western Trade Show opens in Event Center; sift and grade bulls in the Bull Barn; Horse Challenge in the Event Center: activities include Horse Sale Challenge Snaffle/Hackamore class and Bridle class; Open Snaffle/Hackamore class and Bridle class; Ranch Horse Class. 3 p.m. — Open Arena. 5:30 p.m. — Klamath Cattlewomen’s Barbecue. 6 p.m. — Calcutta: Challenge Finalists, Open and Kids Goat Branding Teams. 7 p.m. — Challenge Finals followed by Kids Goat Branding and Open Branding. Saturday, Feb. 57 a.m. — Water for Life Breakfast. 9 a.m. — Western Trade Show opens in the Event Center; educational forum in Event Center; Big Loop contest in Event Center with calcutta and finals immediately following, Noon — 51st Annual Klamath Bull Sale followed by Water for Life Sale followed by Horse Sale in the Bull Barn. 5:30 p.m. — Klamath Cattlewomen’s Barbecue. 6 p.m. — Calcutta Ranch Rodeo Teams in the Event Center. 7 p.m. — Second Annual Klamath Cattlemen’s Ranch Rodeo in Event Center. Sunday, Feb. 69 a.m. — Western Trade Show opens in the Event Center. 10 a.m. — Klamath Cattlemen’s Ranch Rodeo. |
