Klamath County Growers Workshop Planned to Discuss Water Issues A follow-up workshop to the March 1st meeting in Klamath Falls is planned to address various irrigation related issues of producers who farm in both Northern California and Klamath County, Oregon. The workshop will focus on FSA, RMA and NRCS programs with a goal to help farmers familiarize themselves with the various disaster assistance programs that may be available to them now or down the road. The following individuals will be available to present information and field questions: Lynn Voigt, State Executive Director, Oregon Farm Service Agency Val Dolcini, State Executive Director, California Farm Service Agency Nancy Beaumont, Regional Director RMA (California) Dave Paul, Regional Director RMA (Oregon) Gene Kelley, RC&D Coordinator, Or-Cal RC&D (representing California NRCS) Ron Alvarado, State Conservationist, Oregon NRCS The workshop will be held on Tuesday, April 13th at 6:00 pm following a hosted dinner, at the Shilo Inn, Klamath Falls.
