Subject: Re: Some Interesting
Details About Mr. Sullivan - Candidate
for Sis. County Counsel
RE: Proposed new County Counsel; Mr.
Sullivan:
This just in from another source:
"From the newsletter of the group he
advised: “we
have celebrated efforts to ban suction dredge
mining practices”
The BOS is going to own the results of this hire if it happens tomorrow, unless it's not too late to correct this. His draft Employment Agreement will be approved tomorrow (Tuesday 4-4-17) right? Maybe you should check with some of the citizens of Siskiyou County citizens that pay all the bills? The reason Congress has a rotten 7% approval rating is that they get elected and then they do what they want, not what's best for the citizens... is this starting to happen at the County level too?

Mr. Sullivan's full bio is herein below, as copied from the law firm info at his previous employment.
http://www.lg-attorneys.com/about/team/brad-sullivan/ There are some details that have me wondering if Mr. Sullivan is supportive of the progressive Liberal agenda on a personal level, and of course, if that may be the case, how much impact will it have on his ability to represent the citizens of our County, including litigating against the State, pot growers and environmentalists as will be needed. His prior law firm has this to say about cannabis at their website: http://www.lg-attorneys.com/expertise/cannabis-business/ "L+G believes that a sensible cannabis policy can bring important revenue to California and much needed reform to our criminal justice system. Thoughtful cannabis regulation will decrease crime while increasing tax revenue and job growth throughout the State. The L+G firm provides a rare combination of business, legal and policy advocacy experience, coupled with an exceptional understanding of the cannabis industry." It also seems he had an affiliation with an organization that appears to stand against the beliefs of the majority of citizens in our County:
