(R-CA), is the son of Frank Larrabee. Frank was a
strong supporter of irrigated agriculture and a
community leader in the Sacramento Valley. He will

Earl
Franklin Larrabee passed away April
2nd at the age of 66. Born July 25, 1937, he
lived his entire life in the Chico area where
he attended school, was active in Lambda Pi
Fraternity, and graduated from CSU, Chico. His
parents, Earl and Mildred Larrabee, and his
wife Mary Lou Larrabee, predecease him. He was
the "Supreme Commander" of the farm for over
45 years in the Butte City area. Frank was a
longtime board member of Western Canal Water
District, active with Butte Creek Country Club
and Bidwell Memorial Presbyterian Church, and
many other agricultural and community service
organizations over the years. He was an avid
golfer, loved flying airplanes, spent many
years water-skiing, and thoroughly loved his
time with his grandchildren. Frank is survived
by his wife, Melisse of Chico; sons Eric and
Scott, their wives Treasa and Rachel, of Butte
City; son Keith and wife Kim of Chico;
daughter Keri Lee and husband Scott of
Roseville; son Jason of Butte City; seven
grandchildren and five step-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday April 7th from
5-8 p.m. at Brusie Funeral Home in Chico. A
celebration of his life will be held Thursday,
April 8th, at 11am, at Bidwell Memorial
Presbyterian Church in Chico. In lieu of
flowers, please make donations to Bidwell
Memorial Presbyterian Church Children's
Ministries, Enloe Hospital Foundation or The
American Cancer Society.
