Water Data Update – May 16, 2006 Water Year Type Upper Klamath Lake: Above Average (this is the highest flow classification for the lake) Klamath River: Wet (this is the highest flow classification for the river) Additional Information Snow Pack Basin-wide percent of Average: 138% UKL April – September 30th Stream Flow Forecast: 820,000 acre-feet @ 50% exceedance Klamath River Flow Forecast: 793,000 acre-feet @ 70% exceedance Upper Klamath Lake Level: 4,143.26 feet Reclamation has been working with Fish and Wildlife To draw the reservoir down in anticipation of high runoff. Upper Klamath Lake Inflow Seven-day Average: 3,834 cfs Link River Releases: 2,540 cfs Keno Releases: 2,640 cfs Iron Gate Dam Releases: 3,240 cfs Requirement for Wet Year Type in Biological Opinion: 2,050 cfs Shasta River Flow: 278 cfs Scott River Flow: 2,890 cfs Trinity River Basin – Extremely Wet Water Year (this is the highest flow classification) Trinity River Releases - below Lewiston Dam: 4,660 cfs Trinity River Flow - at Hoopa Gauge: 11,700 cfs
