Did a
great job For 2-1/2 years, Dan Keppen served as director of the Klamath Water Users Association. While his decision to step down saddens many of us, you have to be true to your own sense of timing and Keppen decided it was, indeed, time. To note that he served it effectiveness and dedication would be a gross understatement. He had, and has, the ability to raise levels of concern and get things done in Salem and especially in Washington. He got the nickname "water boy" for all his actions and abilities, but truth be known, for 2 1/2 tough years, he not only carried the water, he delivered it. We all owe him an "atta boy" and are delighted he and his family will stay in Klamath Falls. L. H.
