‘In God We Trust’
would be a helpful reminder
Posting the inscription ‘In
God We Trust’ would be inspirational and positive to the
community, an outreach expanding with a ‘purpose, mission, and a
vision’….a pathway to be blessed and prosper. ‘In God We Trust’
is imprinted on U.S. currency, we handle currency every day as a
reminder with a belief identifying who we are as an American, a
nation what we stand for based upon values and principles — part
of our nation’s historical heritage. Our educated founding
fathers trusted God by faith believing in a supreme being which
made our nation so great!
(referring to proposal to place this in the Klamath County Commissioner's chamber)
letter to the editor of Herald
and News by
Charymane Beskow,
Klamath Falls 1/16/15 Thanks to all of our military veterans who served in World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Persian Gulf, and other past wars sustaining our freedoms we take so much for granted. If it wasn’t for our Veterans, and those who currently serve, we wouldn’t be standing as a nation today. People would not be in business, have jobs, or go to a house of worship. Visually posting inspiring words in a centralized government location will go a long-ways touching a young life in their informative years, and many lives ahead. ‘In God We Trust’ is respecting and honoring God’s laws; respecting the U.S. Constitution, the laws of the land, and those in position of authority. A house (government) will not stand without a foundation.
