The dams that were decimating all salmon runs are still here. The tribes haven't yet gotten 92,000 acres of prime forest land in the deal. The salmon hatchery is still here. Turning off water for farmers was wrong, too. The release of fish parts by the hatchery hurt nothing.

Bottom line is that the dirty, unscientific data brought forth by the tribes, enviros and other whacko groups was wrong all the time. The tribes and their mouthpieces were way out of line and should never be creditably used in the future. Turns out "the 80 percent" that voted against dam removal knew absolutely what was right. Add to that group, 50 percent of Klamath Falls area voters were right, too.

Kudos to the sheriff's organization, the Siskiyou County Board of Supervisors, the Grange, the POW organization and to individual voices for stepping all over this secret, closed-door attempt to rape Siskiyou County. Special thanks to those in the Siskiyou County Water Users group that had the foresight to put this scam on the ballot. Last week, Congressman Greg Walden (R-OR2) said the bills in Congress (on the KBRA) "have no traction." He also said, "when three quarters of the population say no to dam removal, that's a problem you can't skip over."

Finally, Siskiyou County voices are being heard. The salmon are back in record numbers with all the dams to help them.
