YREKA, Calif. – Sponsor tables are up for grabs for the Siskiyou County Farm Bureau annual dinner. There are 25 tables available at $50 each.

It has become a tradition for businesses and friends of Farm Bureau to sponsor a table by decorating and donating items. As a result, everyone that attends the annual dinner goes home with free promotional items. This is a win-win situation with dinner attendees vying for favorite tables.

Doors open on Saturday, Feb. 25, at 6 p.m. with a social hour. Dinner follows at 7 p.m.

Cost of dinner is $15 per person. Call office manager Rosie Scott at 842-2364 for reservations.

Last year, Tyler Sweet was a hit, when he read his state award winning story from the “Imagine This …” contest. His story about turning into a pig was animated and is available as a video.

This year Tyler won at the state level again and will share his newest story along with other state and regional winners from Siskiyou County.

Also five high school seniors will be announced as the winners of the Siskiyou Farm Bureau Scholarship awards.

An auction will also be held and the Farm Bureau directors are gathering items. The auction supports high school scholarships and “Agriculture In The Classroom” program.

Dinner will be held at the Miner’s Inn Convention Center on Main Street in Yreka.
