Money could have been spent better

Donna Stevens, Klamath Falls. Herald and News opinion 11/27/07

I am so baffled by the fact that our farmers are the first to get their water cut off if the level of the lake gets too low to sustain the sucker fish, but now we are paying for a $10 million levee demolition project that will give the sucker fish larval a better chance because it will provide lower water habitat?
Does anyone else out there think that $10 million would go a long way in providing better habitat for a lot of families in this county?
