Register for the Draft!
Help Defend our Klamath Basin Property and Water Rights!
The federal decision to allocate all available water to three species of fish means that there will be NO irrigation water to 210,000 acres of farmland in the Klamath Basin in Southern Oregon and Northern California. This will cause an expected economic loss to the region of $300-$400 million dollars, making it almost impossible for the region to survive. It also betrays the promise made to WWI and WWII veterans invited by the federal government to homestead and farm the "reclaimed" lands. Sign up on the next page to assist in the fight for our land and water!
Here's what we're fighting:
Take a look online at http://www.wilderness.org/standbylands/refuges/klamath_vision2.pdf to see the plans to take the Klamath Basin as spelled out by Wendall Wood and his coalition of the entire environmental community including the Audobon Society, Wilderness Society, ONRC and others.
William Z. Foster, 1932, National Chairman of the Communist Party, USA: "The establishment of an American Soviet government will involve the confiscation of large landed estates in town and country, and also, the whole body of forests, mineral deposits, lakes, rivers..."
Ayn Rand: "Any alleged 'right' of one man, which necessitates the violation of the rights of another, is not and cannot be a 'right.'"
Here's how you can help...
