HERE for TOURS Film Fields of Splendor by Anders Tomlinson, will show every hour. This short film captures the beauty and splendor of the Tule Lake and Klamath Basin area. See thousands of Geese bursting into the air in flight while hundreds of Ducks dabble in the fresh water marshes below. See Hawks, Eagles and other birds of prey soaring through the sky in search of food. Do not miss the chance to view this very unique and awe inspiring movie. This film will be shown hourly throughout the day, and 22 minute copies will be on sale for $20. Volunteer Fire Department Tri-Tip Bar-b-que (mid day); food and refreshments (all day) Youth activities In addition to the tours, there will be special activities for youth for all ages: bird house building, marsh discovery activities, live wild bird demonstrations through out the day, children’s wildlife art instruction, and little tykes playground. Art Show Over 30 Artists and photographers from the Tulelake and Klamath Basin will have work on exhibit and for sale at a special exhibit at the Tulelake Migratory Bird Festival will be held in the Tulelake Community Center. This exhibit will be just one of many events and activities featured at the all day Festival (9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) Children's activities A host of children’s activities will also be a highlight of the festival. Events for children will include birdhouse building, Little Tykes play area, a water table, duck drawing/coloring instruction and live bird demonstrations. Children will also be able to obtain colorful wildlife posters other free items designed to increase their appreciation for wildlife.
