www.heraldandnews.com Farming a better use for water than biomass letter to editor of Herald and News by Keith Cook, Klamath Falls 6/1/10 When the best use of available water is one of the major concerns of our Klamath Basin residents, it does seem that the daily requirements of nearly 500,000 gallons of water for a biomass operation, which would employ only 30 people, could better be used by the hundreds of farmers who would be impacted by the denial of water they need to grow their crops. On a different topic: Thank you, Klamath voters, for the needed change in our county commissioner decision managers. |
