Herald and News letter to the
editor by Jack Faulkner, Klamath Falls 1/18/15 I hardly recognize the great country I was born into some 70 years ago. Every attempt to fundamentally change our great nation is taking place from the oval office on down. I may be labeled a bigot, a racist, a hater and a homophobe, but I love America and am sick and tired of the efforts being made to destroy it! God bless leaders such as Tom Mallams who still recognizes that trusting God and publicly acknowledging it is a credit to the citizens they serve. Kindly allow me to quote the following founders: “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” John Adams.“If, to please the people, we offer what we ourselves disapprove, how can we afterwards defend our work? Let us raise a standard to which the wise and honest can repair. The event is in the hand of God.” — George Washington, to the Constitutional Convention delegates. In God We Trust, our national motto, is inscribed in letters of gold behind the Speaker’s rostrum in the House Chamber. If it’s good enough to be in our House of Representatives, it’s good enough to be in our commissioners hearing room. God bless Tom Mallams for attempting to place it there and God bless America! ==================================================== In accordance with Title 17 U.S.C. section 107, any copyrighted material herein is distributed without profit or payment to those who have expressed a prior interest in receiving this information for non-profit research and educational purposes only.
