The National Sheepdog finals took place at Kerr Ranch on Lower Klamath Road the first of October. Contestants came from Canada, Europe, and throughout the United States.

School kids came to watch the finals and learned how the handler and dog interact for the dog to fetch, herd and separate the sheep by voice and whistle commands of the shepherd.
