Western Fence Lizard

This common lizard may be found in dry upland locations in the Upper Klamtah Basin watershed.  It is seen mostly in brush areas, near buildings and at sites with exposed rock outcroppings.

Other Habitats: Juniper/sagebrush; Ponderosa/lodgepole pine forest
