Hearing set on COB plant
permit An information session will precede the hearing at 6 p.m. DEQ issued the facility’s air permit in December 2003, which provided an 18-month window for construction. Extension of the permit would allow an additional 18 months for construction to begin. The proposed facility, which would use natural gas, would be located more than two miles south of the intersection of Harpold Valley Road and West Langell Valley Road. Written comment about the extension must be
received by DEQ by 5 p.m., Oct. 17. Comments
should be addressed to Air Quality Permit
